Farewell to 1001 Peeps Summer Camp!

It has been a really great summer, and it's with heavy hearts, and dozen peep projects that we draw our 1001 Peeps Summer Camp to a close.

So for the final time this summer, I'm sending you to our last counselor's blog to check out a sweet action project using 1001 Peeps! Monica has made a fantastic project. It's a Scoodie. A scarf hoodie! and it will take you right in to a magical fall.

I hope that you have had a great summer, and that you have enjoyed camp. Also, a huge thanks to all of the counselors for participating and creating fantastic tutorials. Check them out!

Nearing the end!

We are nearing the end of 1001 Peeps Summer camp as your little Peeps start heading back to school. Today Deborah of Whipstich, who I think is probably one of the funniest, smartest and most down to earth people I have ever met, seriously I could not think more highly of her, has made a super great project for your little peeps.

THE ENCHANTED BOW!!!!!!

Karyn, whom I love love love, made this weeks 1001 Peeps Summer Camp project.

Go here to download the pdf to make this sweet skirt. I especially love the paper bag top, and the Purple Pearl Bracelet in a giant enchanted bow is just TOO good.

I'm gonna make one with the dark blue illusion print and a light blue jewel print bow and I'm gonna add some pockets. I might even make an Outfoxed one too! PINK!

Just two more weeks of summer camp. I hope you've been having fun!

OMGOODNESS Summer Camp

PLEASE! I implore you to go to camp today!

Anne of Flax & Twine has made the most fantastic Peeps puppet theatre with a fantastic tutorial for you today! Head on over and show her some Summer Camp comment love!

I've been in NYC all week and I have had the best time. For some reason I wasn't expecting to have the best time... I think being exhausted makes everything seem like a chore, but I really have had such a great time... I'm even going to a baseball game tonight. What am I, an American or something?

Ok. Quilt along post on Monday with kit sources, if you haven't found one already. Also, comment here if have ordered the book/ are ordering the book and still need fabric requirements.

Also. It is finished. The Red Letter Day stripe is officially back in your lives come 2012.

also, for your veiwing pleasure, a little video from my school house at Spring Market in SLC. Note that I say that the book would ship in the beginning of June... when it really ended up being the beginning of July... water under the bridge, anyone?

Lots of news!

Numero Uno. The book gets here today.

As soon as the UPS dude shows up, I will have over 400 lbs of books to bring through my door, and then later today I will be sending out 100 lbs of books. I'm going to be sore and totally ripped by the end of the day, and I am going to really need some sushi and probably cake.

2. 1001 Peeps Summer Camp is meeting at the Fat Quarterly Blog today! Counselor John wants you to let your Peep Flag Fly, and has made a sweet action versatile flag that will blow your mind. Leave a comment over at Fat Quarterly to win some fabric and a copy of the book!

3. I'm getting production yardage of Outfoxed on Monday which puts me over the moon!!! and it probably puts you over the moon too... if the emails I have been getting about Outfoxed are any indication of your feelings.

1001 Peeps Summer Camp! week 2

Hello Peep Campers!

Today I want you to take a walk over to your counselor, Alexia's of Craftopia! She has put together a great activity of Pool Toys! Who knew??

When you get there, to download the pattern, make sure to sign the roll, and tell Alexia your favorite summer movie to get entered in  contest for a very cute stack of 1001 Peeps fat 1/8's. The same ones that were used to make this project!

Last day of Camp

Hi everyone,

Today is the last day of Castle Peeps Summer Camp. Thankfully there won't have to be any tearful goodbyes. Instead you just get to look back and reflect, make, or be inspired by all the great projects that were contributed to CPSC this summer.

So make sure that you head on over to Amanda's, of Ms.McPorkchop fame, to check out her Castle Peeps Party Bunting post! Amanda is brilliant. Check out her flickr and weep. She's got it going on for sure.

Who doesn't want mid-century medieval party bunting? Get cracking peeps!

Tomorrow I will post a wrap up of the camp so you can remember what a great time you have had this summer!

To wrap up our summer, me and Melissa are taking a baby road trip to San Antonio tomorrow to go to Fiesta Texas. It should be great!
