Hey Remember??!

Remember that time that I went to France and never posted anything about it?

Well this trip changed my life. Most trips to France are exquiz, but this one was special. 

Do you also remember that time that I said that I would send little gifties to those who donated a specific amount for this project? 

I have your presents. They've just been here with me, but I didn't receive your addresses. I'm going to chalk it up to miscommunication, and I'm going to ask that you send those to me now, so I can send you your gifts. Because they are here, waiting to go home to you.

I love A Christmas Carol. I especially love the Muppet's Christmas Carol.

Light the Lamp not the Rat, anyone??? 

So it got me thinking. What would my own Christmas Carol look like. And while I haven't even begun to scratch the surface of what that could entail, or the things that I would be shown (yikes)... I decided to design this years holiday pins with that in mind. So there is a little fabric Past, Present, and Future represented.

They are Presh Town USA. Also, they were designed as a perfect stocking stuffer. So they actually stand up instead of falling to the bottom of ye olde stocking. Also, they aren't holiday themed so you can enjoy them all year long.

Holiday Cards 2012

I was chastised for years about designing holiday cards. Literally years. So I decided last year to give the people what they wanted and now it's a thing. 3 cards each year. For now anyway. 

This years cards include:

A shark shouting Seasons Greetings

A Hedgehog Christmas Tree

and a lovely card stating Joy. 

As always I have to be true to myself, and by this point, I'd like to think that you'd be upset with me if I wasn't. So it makes perfect sense that this years Yeti is a shark with a candy cane, and that the perfect way to wish someone a Merry Christmas is with a Christmas Tree of stacked hedgehogs. The joy card actually comes from a pattern I orignially designed while I was designing Hello Pilgrim, and have been holding onto for the right moment/time. 

this is the moment. 

Speaking of yetis, how could I leave him out? He's like a holiday staple in my ever changing home. So this year as a special treat I have created the Yeti for All Seasons notecard set. The set includes 12 flat 4x6 cards that state, Happy Birthday, Thank you, I miss you, and Get Better. But I like the way the Yeti phrases things. These are not suggestions so much as commands. He is shouting. And therefore you are shouting. But more than anything I love the idea of being able to write out quick notes on presh town cards. They are thoughtful without too much formality. 

Also, they make a continuous river. I'm just saying...

I've been away.

I've been away. Maybe you noticed. 

I have several blog posts that I've owed you for some time now. Maybe it's just best though to pick up and move on. I went to Paris. I went to New York State to visit one of my dearest friends and her sweet family. I spent a week teaching peeps I love in Cambridge, MA how to do things that I love. Then I was home for a spell, only to sew my heart out until I left for Quilt Market. 

There are lots of posts in there. And lots of grateful tears for the people who remain steady and constant in my life. 

But I'm here today to tell you that I have so many exciting things coming this holiday season for you! The first of which, is in the shop right now, and will become available at 10:00 AM (Mountain Standard Time) in the morning. 

Hopefully you will see this in your feeds so you get a chance...

The first item available will be.....

24, 50 fat 1/8's set. They were such a hit last year, that we thought we'd give it another go. This time we are releasing them earlier than last year, so we A. have time to cut them down, and B. after all that cutting have time to get them to you. 

So as I just stated. There are only 24 available. So act swiftly. The fabric will be as always, a delightful rainbow ranging from Outfoxed, Hello Pilgrim, Guising, and Constellations (including some new and loved PB's).

We'll be shipping internationally all season long, fyi.
