I've been tweeting about my new little kit-kat, Finn, for a while now. Promised pictures, and did not deliver. Here is the delivery.
This is my sweet little Finn. He was the perfect little guy to come home to, when I came back to Texas all broken and lost. Aside from my Mom, this little guy was just here to love me, and hang out with me while I work. He is a Bengal, which means he is at least an 1/8 wildcat, which means he's huge. He's 5 months old and as big as Stella, who is a big full grown calico.
He uses his paws like only one other cat I've seen before. He reaches it out and actually touches or taps things to figure them out, and when I've been gone too long from a room that he's in, or when I am walking around the house on my phone, he throws himself at my legs, in the shape of an X. Pictures of the X are not easy to get. We put a little collar on him with a bell, because these sneak attacks were getting a little out of control.
I'll be up stairs in the sewing room just working away, and then I will remember that he's not with me, and just call him, and then you hear his little bell, and he runs upstairs and falls asleep on one of my Mom's projects, not mine. He's an all-star.
here's a picture of Mickey, as well. He and Finn seem to be really good friends.
Not the best at helping, but they are good to have around.
Also, today I finally cut out a project that I've had the fabric for, for over a year now. It's good to get things done... or closer to done than not started...
