the Sting Ray

I've been gearing up to head on to Portland, but it has been so easy to get distracted by how beautiful the weather as been!

Monday night I went with the JimJams to the park to scoot around with Izzy. Hilarious. Have all of you ridden on scooters? Boo to the Razor. Back in the day when they got really popular around Christmas (1998?), I got a sweet action Schwinn Sting Ray, and Ashlee got a Razor. The Razor was $20 more expensive, the brake wasn't as good, the handle bars were lower, and the foot board was about 2 inches shorter. So the StingRay...It was gold, and had sparkly handles...heavier construction, better collapsing mechanism. Well, If you are looking for a scooter for whatever reason, track down a StingRay.

Well i've held onto it all these years, and I sold it to the Jimison's because I just couldn't take everything with me... anyway, I got to ride my old StingRay around the park. It was really cool. For real.

Finishing a quilt, having a party or two, re-packing my stuff, saying goodbye to all of my favorite people, and only eight days till I hit the road. Holy COW!
