my new favorite friend is Amy Royer. She is on the sewing team with me, her quilt is pictured below... but Amy is an awesome printmaker. We are in the BFA program together, but she does a really cool kind of printmaking called monoprint. Monoprint meaning one print... well she is graduating this semester and therefore preparing for her BFA show. She has done over 60 prints in a very concentrated amount of time, and they are all based on circles and the idea of freedom, and they are all like 25x38, they certainly have a presence.
Since she will only be showing 20 pieces she has to pick the very best of the best, so we laid them all out for people to choose their favorites. It was really cool to see all of them together, and to see peoples reactions to them
