Great giveaway! I love JC's books. I declared in 2011 that 2012 was going to be great year! It's already started out that way...lots of great new quilt projects, going to MQX next month, we're taking a great vacation cruise with my parents in September, my brother's getting married in October. Lots of fun with family!! o:)

2012 is going to be a great year with new sewing and quilting projects, and more time to do the things I love. Sure love these books.. a great read!

SO good to see you again Cherri! I've missed your updates. Thanks for the opportunity to win a new book!

Lindsey F.

There were a lot of dark times during 2011 for my family and me so I am facing 2012 with anticipation of much brighter things. I know it will be better than 2011. I love Jennifer Chiaverini's books. I've read all of them and am looking forward to this new release.

Mary Grace McNamara

2012, as well as every year, will be great for me because I have a wonderful family and a very generous and patient husband who lets me indulge my yarn and fabric addictions! I've never heard of these books, so I would enjoy winning this one. Thanks for the chance!

2012 is going to be a good year because I am not going to let it be anything else. think positive, do good and be happy!!!

Melodee Cartin

2012 is already a great year for me. I am accomplishing goals I have set for myself, though we became empty nestors for the first time this year, we are dealing with it well. I read Runaway Quilt and loved it, I would also like to read Sonoma Rose, how fun would it be if I won it.

I really need to know what the wasting disease that Rose's children have! I've been waiting since her character was introduced! As for 2012, we are planning a cross country trip with the kids to the family cabin. I'm excited since I have never driven cross country.

I can't wait to read this book! I love her books and have read (and own) atleast 15 of them. I would love to win! Thanks for the chance!

Debbie-Esch House Quilts

Welcome back! I love Jennifer's books and can't wait to read this one too.

2012 is going to be great because the health issues in our family are all manageable and going to stay that way!

2012 is already great - mild winter, relative good health for me and mine (other than colds) and a great response to a charity quilt block drive that will hopefully see me donating more than 20 quilts this year!

2012 will be great because I will endeavor to expand my creative sewing without putting any pressure on my self for results!

I love JC's books. I've read them all so far. I think 2012 will bring a renewed joy to our family. I have a niece who will be bringing a new grandbaby into the year in July. I can hardly wait to hold this little bundle. Of course there is a special quilt in the works for her/him.

Thanks for the Sonoma giveaway. We had a rocky beginning to 2012 and are determined to make the remainder of the year better. Better health is at the top of my list. Making the rooster quilt she has always wanted to make is on my mother's list.

Hilary McDaniel

2012 is already fabulous because we've broken the drought. Life has been so good and I've been so blessed.. I love Jennifer's books and would love the latest release.

Ellyn Z

so glad to see you back blogging! 2012 is going to be a great year because I have chosen to be more grateful this year. Gratitude is my word for the year and whatever comes my way, I will be thankful. I love Jennifers books!

Cheryl Arkison

So glad to see you! And I'm even happier to hear that things are looking good for you this year.

In 2012 I'm looking forward to welcoming my first book and my third baby into the world. And finishing up a reno and another big project. It should be a momentous year!

PS I am completely addicted to the Jennifer Chiaverini books.

Well, in 2012 one of my daughters is having another baby and the other one is coming back with her family to live near us. I have a New Jersey mailing address. Thanks, Cherri!

Carla V.

2012 is the year I take it easy, relax, and enjoy the piecing/quilting process. I'm going at my own pace. I'm also incorporating this into my everyday life. Trying not to worry about the little things and enjoy the family. :D

Joy Leitz

It's good to hear from you again Cherri! 2012 is a great year as I have finished 4 quilts and plan on finishing more so that I have enough to gift my whole family!

Shayla Sharp

77 in February, must be nice! 2012 is going to be great because I'm going to finish most of my UFO's and quit my lousy job (just as soon as I find a way to replace it, lol).

I'd love to win this book...I've heard so much about these quilting books but haven't read any of them! What's good about 2012...I plan to work on a quilt for a friend's birthday and get lots of other UFOs completed! I hope it will be a good crafting year.

I'm delighted to see you posting again. I hope this means your health issues are resolved and you are feeling healthy and happy. I'm sure lots of us would also love an update about how your daughter is doing in her nursing career.
Thanks for the great giveaway. I can't wait to hear your good news.

WWEEELLL...2012 did not start off well, after 7 years of losing everyone so very close to me I suddenly lost the very closest to me, my husband, my soul mate, my best friend this month. I will however grieve, give myself permission but will try to be creative??? I will try but need inspiration, what a great way to start. Many thanks for the giveaway and a starting point!

Miss Nancy

This is going to be a great year just because it is going to be a great year. Many good things are going to come my way and your way. Thank you for this great giveaway.

Have a super great sewing and stitching day. Enjoy the weather.

Sharon B

I love the Elm Creek books! This will be a great year because the winter has been mild and I can handle anything if the sun is shining.

Nancy B from Many LA

It's going to be a great year, because every year I'm alive is a great year!

Kaaren Babb

One thing that would make my year much better is if you are so well that you can come out and play again. Oh how I've missed you!

Kathie L

I think every year has its moments of greatness. Just having time to enjoy the day with my husband is a daily great. Kathie L in Allentown

I look forward to 2012. I have already finished up 2 UFOs and hope to rout out several more. Then begin some wonderful new quilts.Oh joy! =!=

hmmm any number of reasons....lots of great fabric coming out, my online shop has been having a good start to the year, i am watching with amazement as my little kiddos get bigger....really, it wouldn't be a great year if I knew at the outset what one thing was going to make it great, so rather than call the ball now i am happy to live it out. The books are a great series, I have read a bunch of them, along with the companion pattern/quilting books. Hope you have a great 2012!

We are expecting a second granddaughter in 2012! Can't think of anything better! :-)

Sarah N

2012 is going to be a great year - because I am on the road to a healthier me! Lost 12 pounds already and am trying to exercise more regularly. On the quilting front I am concentrating on finishing UFO's that have been hanging over my head.

Thanks for the great giveaway!

2012 is going to be a good year because we've finally had some rain here in the Texas Hill Country area. The landscape is already turning green, which is a nice change from the overall brown color it's had the last couple of years. Maybe it will get to be as pretty as the cover of Sonoma Rose!

So good to hear from you again! 2012 is going to be great because my family will get more centered and settled in our new home. And I will work on getting some more quilt patterns written too!

Debbie Gallett

2012 is going to be great because I already have some great sewing projects started. I am also going to have a great vegetable garden. Lots of fun plans.

2012 will be health and happy year. had some physical scares but have overcome and vow to live with a postivie outlook. will be making lots of quilts with the ladies at church for our quilt ministry and it is such a joy. plan to do ALOT of them :)

I'm so glad you're back and you sound GOOD! Great giveaway! I also saw your Spring Quilt on Moda Bake Shop this morning. I am pulling fabric NOW. It's so cute and easy and DOABLE!!! Thank you!

2012 will be a great year because my husband & I are celebrating our golden anniversary and best of all all 4 and all 9 of our children and grand children will be together for the first time in many years.I have almost all the favors made for the party and am working on making the tabletoppers

Claudia Voorhees

2012 is going to be my "Finish UFO Year" I am going to work on my UFO list this year and get projects finished. If they are not projects that I can use I hope they will be for charity projects.
It is going to be a great sewing year !
I enjoy reading your blog.

So good to have you back! This new year has already seen some UFO's get finished and my sewing room reorganized. But best of all, I have my family nearby again after years of living far away :-) I look forward to reading what's new with you. Thanks for the giveaway!

It's going to be a great year because my son will be learning all sorts of new things (he's 6 months)!

2012 is going to be an amazing year because I am having my first baby! I can't wait!!!!!

Glad to see you're back! 2012 looks pretty good so far . . .I've got my eyes wide open and I'm seeing things differently already. Can't wait to get up every morning! Thanks - Byrd

Mary Ann

Oh so glad to see you're back. 2012 is off to a wonderful start, its a lot about attitude isn't it? (But health is so important and I am hoping yours is back on track)

Andrea Franklin

So Glad to see you're back in the game again! 2012 is going to be a great year for me because I now have a sewing room mostly all to myself (the floor has to double as a guest space from time to time, but there's no bed taking up all that space any longer! Yeah! And I've been organizing my fabric stash into more usable space and color collections. I finally have space for a real Design Wall!
AND I love, love, love Jennifer Chiaverini! Have read nearly every single book of hers. I check out the books on CD from my local library and listen while I sew. How cool is that!

Welcome back! 2012 is going to be great because we hope to have a second baby, and we can't wait!
