Back in March, I sent out a request for quilts for little ones in need. You answered with love, generosity, and quilts; I thank you with all my heart ♥
I've asked Heather, president of the Baltimore Modern Quilt Guild to do a guest post about the quilts, and the program.
You can download Heather's post here, I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did! Did you see your quilt in the photos? I saw mine...so fun! Download SEEHS QUILT DRIVE
Thank you again! As you can see from the photos, our quilt drive was an overwhelming success! We've touched the lives of these families in a positive, and loving way...that's what quilting is all about in my book.
much love,
Cherri
Cherri,
It was wonderful of you to organize this in the first place and going way beyond that you then figured out how to keep it going!
Thanks for the inspiration!

Cherri,
The quilt give a way was wonderful. We did it three different times so all the children could participate. The parents were thrilled, they couldn't believe that someone would hand make a quilt for their child. Two of the kids kept their quilts with them all day, wouldn't put them in their cubbies.
Please know that your generosity and kindness shines from Texas to all you touch.... And we love your daughter!
Heather is going to be a great friend to SEEHS, thank you for sending her to us.
Stay well, we are thinking of you.
Love, gayne

Fantastic! I DID see my quilt, though my favorite pictures are those with the kids wrapped up in the other ones. ;-) Thank you Cherrie, Melissa, Gayne and Heather!

Cherri,
Thank you for sharing the photos of the "Quilt Ceremony." I loved seeing the children with their quilts. You and your daughter came up with a great project. I didn't see my quilt, but I did receive a lovely thank you card from Gayne. A picture of the quilt I sent is here
