Thank you so much for your kind outpouring of support in regards to my story. It is hard is talk about, and your gracious kindness is humbling to me. Since it isn't a subject I discuss often, I am always taken aback by how prevalent domestic violence is, and how many lives it touches.
I'm a little under the weather, and Market is days away, so this will have to be brief.
The sisterhood of women is a beautiful thing, and I am so grateful for all of you!
xoxo,
Cherri
I'm always surprised at how prevalent domestic abuse is, too. I have thought about you and your story since you shared, and your journey piecing your life back together. I'm glad you're making it a wonderful journey!

Cherri,
Just read your story and it was wonderful. I think that telling your personal story not only helps others, but also yourself. Every time you tell it, a little of hurt that was there is left behind. It's very powerful. I have quite the story too and when I tell it, it becomes more a story than me (if you know what I mean) and I move away farther and farther from it ...
I just found your blog and so glad I did!

I've just read your story after a friend pointed it out to me. I just wrote a blog post about this same issue. I felt such recognition in how you describe what you went through, it was similar for me and for a lot of other women I suspect.
Thank you for sharing :-)

thank you for sharing, as it is still hard, but your courage helps me and has motivated me to be 'en-couraged' and remember God's blessing and promise to give beauty for ashes, thank you sister ~xo~
