Remember the quilt I made for little baby Hayden? Well it has been delivered, and best of all, it is being used!!! Seeing someone using a quilt that I have made makes me the happiest girl in all the world. Consequently, seeing a quilt that I have made rolled up or folded away, never to be touched, cuddled or loved hurts my soul. I want to say "kindly use it up, love it, cherish it, but don't hide it away".
Do you feel the same, what is the life you envision for your quilts?
I gave a quilt away yesterday to someone who has been suffering from cancer for far too long. As I handed over the quilt, I petted it one last time, and said a little goodbye. Even though it was a little hard to part with, I thought if it brings some comfort and warmth, then I've done my job, and the world will be a bit of a better place.
A little passionate about the subject? Just a bit!
Okay my quilty friends...back to work for me :-)
