Have you seen the new Fons and Porter's Easy Quilts Winter 2009? If not, you should check it out! On page 74 you will see Lizzy's Parade. I thought it the perfect title for a quilt featuring "flags" from Lizzy's Red Letter Day fabric.
On a personal note, I can't adequately express the joy I feel in creating a quilt with my daughter's fabric...truly a dream come true! It's one of those strange occurrence that instead of it being a dream in the far off distant; maybe never to happen future, it is happening now - and it is as wonderful as I imagined; which is also a sweet surprise!
Well that's it for me today...have a happy Sunday,
Cherri
What a stunning quilt.
I can only imagine the pride you must have in your Lizzy!!!!

Oh, this is great! Such a happy looking quilt. I might even be able to part with portions of my Red Letter Day collection to make this . . . which I would then keep all for myself!! :)

These quilts look great, on a side note, you wouldn't happen to know a guy named Dan Purcell would you? I know he does a lot of stuff with quilts in Eastern Idaho.

I just finished your City Park Quilt but made it a whole lot bigger. Have a friend with a king size bed so made the blocks a 12 in size. The pattern is great and has lots of helpful details. http://quiltiowa.blogspot.com/ if you want to come see.
