Holy cow...what a week it's been. Three patterns in one week, is pretty nuts I must admit. Releasing Baby, I Do, City Fair, and Forest Friends has definitely been a time consuming effort for our little quilt pattern company. I bugged poor Lizzy to death for the pattern covers - thank you Lizzy! It seems that we are individually, and collectively drowning in projects - a mixed blessing.
Want a glimpse at how exhausted Lizzy is? Check out this interview that Lizzy did for someone from school. The interview was conducted at 8:00 AM, but Lizzy had only gone to bed a few hours before. She tips forward a little bit every time she speaks - I'm so glad that she doesn't fall. For all the worrying Momma's out there - she did get some rest.
Well, the patterns are complete, the Pattern Store has been updated...I think I'll breathe for just a minute, then get on to the next project. What is the next project you ask??? It is sewing down the binding on my still to be named red scrappy log cabin. Binding/pattern/photo - give us a couple weeks, and it will be available soon. You can take a peek at my log cabin quilt here.
In honor of our new patterns I'm giving one of each away!!! Just leave a comment, and let us know which you like best - entries welcome from all over the world! We'll have our drawing next Sunday and announce the three winners.
Have a great week everyone,
Cherri
I love them all! But I think the one I'd most love to make is City Fair. Maybe I could use up some of my stash & do a scrappy version? That would be so cool. You girls do beautiful work!

All 3 patterns are great, but if I had to pick one, Baby I Do (even though I'm scared of circles).

Forest Friends would be a great pattern to help teach my mom to quilt with!
Posted by: Jen | February 09, 2009 at 06:08 AM
Forest Friends looks more my speed. I am very much a beginner and the other two, as lovely as they are, make me think I need a few quilts under my belt before I tackle them.

Thanks!

I really like the Forest Friends, altho I have stared at the City Fair for a long time, trying to figure out how it is made. It is a mystery to me!

Oh I love City Fair (nothing wrong with the other two, but City Fair just jumps at me). I also am wondering how it is made, my favorite part of a quilt pattern is figuring out how it is made and making it all come together into a beautiful piece of art.

i love all three of the new patterns!!!

Pick one? Isn't that like trying to eat one potato chip?
I would have to say "Baby I Do" then. I really liked it when you posted it in the green and blue.

Posted by: DebbLou | February 13, 2009 at 07:54 PM
I love them all, how can you choose? That's my biggest problem in quilting, is the decision making!
I think for my experience, Forest Friends is my pick... I love the colour combinations that were put together in that photo!
