Lots of things are in the works - and I just can't wait to share them - but I want to clear up some loose ends first...
- The free City Garden patterns are shipping this week. I've been waiting to hear from all the winners, but I still haven't received a reply from one of the ladies...alas, I can't wait any longer - so watch your mailboxes, a City Garden will be arriving in your mail box soon!
- Some folks have been having problems entering Robert Kaufman's Strip Tease contest, so I contacted Robert Kaufman to find out what the trouble was...I received this reply: Please email any problems with the contest to [email protected] We'll be glad to help anyone trying to enter the contest and has a problem. Good luck!!!
Now for the exciting stuff that are in the works at Cherry House Quilts!
Have you been over to Amy Schimler's blog lately? If not, check it out! She is previewing her new fabric line called Forest Fun, it is so great! Best of all - I get to create a new quilt and pattern with this fabulous fabric!
Also, I've been asked to create a quilt for Fons & Porter Easy Quilts Magazine from the Hey Sugar fabric line by Cosmo Cricket for Andover Fabrics. The top is finished, and I'll start the quilting tonight. I think you guys are going to love it! The name of the pattern? Sweet Melissa - named after my own sweet Melissa. I really love this fabric, especially the little arrows in red and white. Guess what? I didn't realize that Hey Sugar was available at stores yet, but I just found it here (for a really great price), as well as at this place! As soon as our free Hey Sugar pattern called Sugar Snap is available on Andover's website, I'll let you know.
Stay tuned, there are lots more exciting happenings just around the corner!
