I'm not sure if I should title this post Lizzy's Quilt, or "I would like some Cherry Pie". Lizzy's quilt is almost finished, just the binding to go! I need to back up a little, for the above sentence to make any sense at all. I've been sick the last few days, some sinus/ear infection kind of thing. It doesn't matter though, I've got to get Lizzy's quilt done, and about a 1000 other projects as well. So last night I'm quilting her quilt (Lizzy's quilt out of Lizzy's fabric...too amazing). So Lizzy calls, and I stop working for a few minutes, I'm looking at the fabric, with all of the perfect little plates, and perfect little forks, and all of sudden I'm hungry for Cherry Pie. I do believe I probably had/have a fever, so maybe a little deliriousness is called for. But I'm just talking to Elizabeth, and I said "this fabric is so perfect, I just wish I could pick up the little dishes off of the fabric"...definitely delirious. Well, I hope you love the fabric as much as I do, and if it makes you want some Cherry Pie, let me know, so I don't feel so silly.
The quilt should be finished tomorrow, then off to Andover for the pattern maker to do their magic, then the free pattern called House Wares will be available online.
Don't feel silly--it makes me want some pie, but most of all I want this fabric. Lots and lots of it. Yum.

Looking at these pictures of the quilt made me tear up... I'm so proud of you and Elizabeth. I wish I could describe how happy this post made me <3

The quilt looks amazing. But then with that fabulous fabric why the heck wouldn't it?!
I have been hankering for pie myself. Sweet potato for me, please.

I love all the swirls in the stitching. It reminds me of whipped topping on pies. Great job.
