Fall into Fall - new friends, and prize details!

Hello!

I have been having so much fun reading everyone's blog entry about your little known facts!  That reminds me of a song that Lizzy performed in "You're A Good Man Charlie Brown".  She was Lucy, and she was absolutely amazing!!!  That could be one of her little known facts if she were entering the contest.

Here's some of my favorites:

• Someone is a dentist, but she'd rather be quilting!
• Someone has a sweet husband who asks if they need to shop for fabric whenever they come across a quilt store...dream
• Someone is a stained glass artist
• Someone special has just released two quilt patterns, and is going to be published in a magazine!
• Someone has been to all 50 states (how fun!)
• Someone is a Computer Forensics Investigator...what does that mean?  I think we were all intrigued by that one
• Someone loves power tools - Tim the tool man Taylor - female version comes to mind
• Someone lived in Africa for 7 years...WOW!
• I'll add one for myself - my birthday is this coming Tuesday October 7th...Ashlee is home so we are going to have a girl's beauty day - I'm so excited!!!

Wow, great prizes. Okay so I'm been drawn out of the dark and am no longer lurking.... I'm Anita, a wife and mom to one 4 year old daughter. I haven't been gainfully employed with a paycheck since my daughter was born. I've sewn since I was a kid and I just love it. I've been quilting for 10 plus years and that is the mainstay of my sewing time these days.

Yes I am a quiet lurker who looks to the internet and bloggers for inspiration - where do you all find the time. I am a fellow Libra lady - my birthday is on lucky 13th - I am now living in New Zealand ( we moved here about 6 years ago)but was born in Rhodesia. I have got hooked on quilting...bags .... and at last count had 42!!!! My daughter ( 18) keeps on taking them to use!!

Hi, I'm Alison and have recently moved to live in tropical Singapore. I've just spent a lovely day with my international quilting group - today we were sewing buttons on a crazy quilt we are making for charity. We all LOVE batiks in this part of the world. The shops here tell us it is Fall/Autumn, but the weather doesn't really change much. It's either hot & humid or hot, humid & wet.

oh my oh my, those fabrics are delicious!! I am a lurker, so all facts about me are little known---but here's one anyway :-)
the single greatest accomlishment in my short lived career as an EMT was that i could back the ambulance between 2 concrete posts using only the side mirrors----cant do that in my tiny little car!! Please count me in for your drawing!
