Let's play good news, bad news...
- Bad news: No power still - maybe today...if not, I'm moving into my friends' apartment - he has power...I've got to start sewing again
Good news: Friday I heard from my friends at Andover about the release of Lizzy Dish, and Hey Sugar by Cosmo Cricket for market samples. I know that everyone is excited about Lizzy Dish, but I'm not sure if you are aware of Hey Sugar. I have to tell how much I LOVE THIS PRODUCT LINE. Ever since Eric & Julie started turning their scrapbooking paper into fabric, this is THE ONE I have been waiting for! Eric said that there are three color ways - I cannot wait to see it "in person".
These images are from the paper line, but I'm sure the fabric will be just as fabulous! The quilt is already planned - the name of the free quilt pattern is called...
Sugar Snap
Why Sugar Snap? Cause the fabric looks so sweet, and it is going to be a snap to make!
Thank you to everyone for your kind messages, and emails in regards to Hurricane Ike, and it's wretched aftermath.
Thank you - Thank you - Thank you!
You kindness, and prayers have made it less lonely, and frustrating. Hopefully next time I'm able to check in, it will be from home, with lots of good news!
Cherri
Glad to read about so much good news! I’m curious to hear more about sugar snap!!

OH.MY. Now with the Hey Sugar?? :D WOO HOO!! And three colorways?? I can't WAIT to see it. I will be watching here carefully for any sneaks you can give us. I JUST got the final pieces of Halfway Cafe for the Galveston Quilt. I have a few things on my plate though and won't be starting it anytime soon. But I have it. :D
Go to your friend's place and start sewing!!

Oh, Cherri! Still no power? Hopefully, today will be the day. My sister and sister-in-law both got theirs back this afternoon, so we have proof that *eventually* power will be restored. (It starts to feel pretty doubtful, doesn't it?)
Hang in there, and thanks for sharing the peek of Hey Sugar. If it's anything like the paper, it'll be hard to resist!
