Welcome to my blog, and welcome to Fall! I love the Fall - it is the perfect time of year for Houston, Texas - the weather is cool, and I feel so alive! There is a special light in the sky, I love the warm glow. It would be safe to say - this is my favorite season!

Something about myself...I was once a painfully shy introvert, have outgrown that and done a few crazy things including zip-lining and parachuting!

Our kids are 21, 19, 16, 14, 8 and almost 4. It's assumed we are a blended family as our kids are so spread out and don't look much alike, but we've been married 26 years :)

I am an organic vegetable farmer who is secretly looking forward to heavy snow falls when I can stop farming and pull out my fabric. This contest looks too tempting to pass up.

Very nice prizes. I am a lurker and with this give away have been finding some really cool blogs. Wife of a wonderful guy and have 2 boys. Only problem I have is that every thing I make they want to keep. lol That is something mostly only family knows lol.

Something about myself....all my toes are broken from hitting the walls while doing flip turns in competitive swimming. They don't hurt, they are just weird looking!
