Once upon a time there was a girl named Cherri, who loved quilts. From the first time she saw one, she was in love. She would spend many years quilting - for her family, for her friends, and just for the joy of it. Cherri knew that one day all of her precious children would go away, and that she better have a plan for when that happened. The plan was to start a quilting business with her daughter Elizabeth, who dreamed of designing fabric for quilters. So one day in May, Cherry House Quilts was born! They started tiny, designing and creating quilts - one at a time.
On a recent Friday, in what Cherri thought must have been a dream, she received an email from the Fairy Godmother of all things fabric/dessert/quilt. The Fairy Godmother said "would you be interested in making a quilt for me for market?" Cherri then knew that she must be dreaming...could this be true, was it possible to actually be talking to The Holly of kitty bib fame? Of course Cherri said yes, she would be honored! The next thing you know the post office elves delivered a box full of glorious fabric, in delicious colors. Cherri happily sewed, and sewed for hours, working to create the fairest quilt in all the land.
What's next in this delightful fairytale? You will have to stay tuned, but one thing I can tell you is that dreams really do come true...
Love this fabric - I have a thing for trees! You are such a tease - I want the next installment and to see the quilt lol!

Lizzy really needs to get this print onto fabric. This would be very popular. I know I'd buy it.

Hi Cherri,
This is your cousin, Eric Comstock. I was just looking at your blog. Really your work is amazing. I especially like the quilts with a modern style. I really like the design that your daughter Lizzy made of the trees. My favorite part of the design are the paper airplanes in the trees (those are paper airplanes, right?)
By the way we’ve had Ashley over for dinner a couple of times. She’s great. I’m glad she’s here in Logan a little while.
Cool logo for your company too.
Well take care,
Eric

Oh one more thing. We are working with Andover Fabrics and they are making some fabrics of our paper designs. When we get some fabric could we send you some? It still about 5 months out.

Love your "ONCE UPON A TIME" story. The quilts and patterns are amazing. My favorite at the moment is the "I DO", of course this changes and updates with each new quilt you finish.
Love, mother
