Hi Peeps!
I just got back from Savannah Georgia! Holy Cow it's a beautiful city! I haven't been there since 2003 when I graduated High School. I stayed with my great friends Ellen & Daniel, and Ellen's brothers Grant and Brian who brought to them, baby Cosmo.
Cosmo is a 12 week old Tonkinese, and he is precious. We were watching Seinfeld, and Cosmo joined Ellen and Daniel by laying belly up between them.I was mostly in Savannah for a tour of the Fibers Program at SCAD, and it was nothing short of incredible! They have their own building (Pepe Hall), where every room is dedicated to the making and creating of textiles! What a dream come true!
The rest of the trip consisted of touring Savannah, Leopold's, The Crab Shack, and the beach.
If you ever go out to Tybee Island, then you have to go to the Crab Shack. It's so good, and kind of ridiculous. They have alligators, cats, and a hole cut out in the middle of your table for trashcans. The cats are a bit well-to-do though. We tried to give a cat that was stalking our table a piece of sausage, that it refused to eat, and then we gave it a shrimp, which it refused to eat, and then we peeled the shrimp and it was finally content. I guess you get particular when you live at a crab shack.
My favorite part of the trip was going to the beach.
always representing.
There was a jumping contest...
It was a great trip. Savannah is definitely on my short list. More soon!

Do they have alligators on the menu??
