I got weepy when Pam showed me what you did. Your talent and sweetness is so bountiful. And blood and guts red velvet is the icing on the cake. Or fondant.

Mary on Lake Pulaski

The armadillo cake was the most fun, quirky thing from everything I read about market!! Too funny and fun. Keep it up!

pam

I still can't get over it. You're too sweet and kind and thoughtful and I could get weepy thinking about it again. xo

Jona

You forgot to mention how delicious it was! It really was yummy and I'm so glad to have had a slice. Have you considered doing a line of armadillo fabric? Just saying.

Beth

Wasn't the groom's cake in "Steel Magnolias" a red velvet armadillo? AWESOME!

BJ Lantz

Cute & creative critter cake, Lizzy!

Dana

Having grown up in Texas and seeing my fair share of armadillos squashed on the side of the road, your armadillo cake is hilarious!! Must remember to do the same thing with a deer for my hubby's birthday next year.

Mal

Gross out 2000!

Megan

you are very talented in everything you do lizzy! :) even cakes!

Mary

Great cake! I heard about it from Myrinda and am bummed I did not get to see it in person but the pics are fabulous. It was great to meet you and your mom! You are both so sweet and talented and I hope to see you both at Houston next year.

I love Kim's dress here! I have some of that same fabric set aside to make something clothing-wise...hm, wonder what.
