I just wanted to pop in and say hello. I'm doing alright. Some days are better than others, but it's good to be among friends. I've been in Rexburg for a week and a half now, and it really has been healing. I've made some new prints for the shop, baked my heart out, hung out with my peeps, and made new friends.
I'll be home in Texas at the beginning of next week so I can get ready for Market with my Mom. I'm mostly going to support my Mom, and her soon to be released $@@&, and to go to some parties with some of my fabric peeps.
All is well.
I did want to share with you one of my favorite things. Ever since the release of my ribbon fabric, Champion, in Red Letter Day, I have been making prize ribbons similar to those, similar to the one that I made on the 4th of July. I use ribbon that I have collected, vintage and interesting ribbon from my travels, as well as my very favorite Italian cotton ribbon from Angela Liguori. So they just bring me a little joy. In the coming weeks, I will show you some neat things I have devised using them.
I'll be back soon

Glad you are doing well - I was thinking about you!

Sorry to hear of your sadness. My daughter is going through a separation right now and it's really been hard on everyone. We worry about her child, 2 years old, her stepson, whom I love with all my heart and am so afraid of not seeing too much anymore and her general happiness for life. I know it was a hard decision for her and I pray time will heal most of the pain. I say the same prayer for you. p.s. Hope I can find all the lovely people I've met through blogging at the quilt show!!
