I don't understand how they always find me? Little animals seem to seek me out... If I start singing I might be in trouble...
here are my newest babes.
the little cat cries at my window or door. She always know where I am in the apartment, and the craziest thing is, she isn't looking for food. If I let her in, she just goes to sleep on me. She just cries and cries. What am I supposed to do about her? Not love her? I haven't been able to give her a name that will stick yet.
the squirrel is a wiley one. I have found him hanging around on my little porch a lot. I keep a little dish of water for the cat, but I have found that he likes to drink from it too. So I make sure it's full and sometimes I put out a little bit of graham cracker, and he's my squirrel for life.
Now I am having a bit of a shop dilemma and I need your help.
My etsy shop is having an identity crisis. Or rather I am. I was updating it and I have paused. I am interested in knowing what would you be interested in seeing in the shop from me? More prints? More books? more stationary? Some Sewn stuff? Cats? Some block printed fabric? Some fabric? What are you interested in?
let me know... because your wish is my command!

Definitely sewn stuff and fabric! I can never buy enough fabric...!

I think you should call the cat Giselle ;)

Guess you're an animal magnet, Lizzy! Maybe the cat lived with the previous tenant?
Now, as to the shop: your fabrics (natch), block fabrics (yes!), prints (yes), um, whatever you want to sew up (yes), um...love it all.

fabric of any kind would thrill me.

As much as I love fabric, I would think that since we can get your fabric from fabric stores, your Etsy shop should showcase your other sides. I vote for prints on paper.

I think you should name the cat 'Butter'. There's a restaurant in New York called 'Butter'. Or you could call it 'Beurre'. That's French for 'Butter'. Or 'Peepaw'. I knew someone who called their grandpa that.

Animals sense your love for them! The little Mrs BlackHouse is sleeping so sweet!
As we can buy your fabric online in many shops, I would love to see more prints, cards and books. I love handmade books. Everything handmade by you will be a thrill!

I could not say no to a cuddly black cat! Mine is named Trudy (short for Miss Gertrude, long story) and you can use that name if you like ...
:)

A little black kitty adopted you too. :) Ours adopted us last summer. I was reading Twilight at the time and started calling her Isabella (Izzi for short). You'll find a lovely name, sometimes you just have to hang out for awhile until they let you know what it is.
As for the shop - anything fabric would be swell. I'd also love to own one of your handmade books. Probably anything that you do would be SWELL.

My cat KC looks exactly like your new cat! :o) When he adopted me I had a hard time naming him (plus I thought he was a girl)... anyways, the name I picked for 'her' ended up being name and it fits him perfectly! (KC stands for Kansas City, which is where we found one another) :oP
Enjoy your new kitty!
