Thanks Lizzy. Great tutorial!
I’ve had so much fun making block-prints in the past! I feel like starting one soon!

Just to let you know your blog has been featured on my blog of the week, i love it, so am spreading the word. I featured your lizzydish print, hope you don't mind.

thank you so much for posting this - i have never done any block printing but of late have been really interested to give it a go. You have just made it so much easier to start :)

I'm loving the whales - especially the one with its tongue sticking out! Very, very fun. Your block print is making me want to make one after all these years - I think the last time I made one was in college. But I'm fresh out of linoleum, and not an art store in sight. (sigh)
I'll just have to live vicariously through yours. :-)

thanks so much - I bought the necessary materials for a linocut a while ago but just needed a bit more of a push. This is it, I'm definitely printing next weekend!

what a great tutorial! thanks!

what kind of ink would you recommend for printing on fabric?

Oh, and is it possible to use good quality oil paints?

That is a great tutorial. I've been meaning to try something like this.
Thanks!

This is fantastic! What a great first visit to your blog! I'll be linking to this and adding you so I don't miss a thing!

I love your works! thanks for this tutorial!!!

Hey, I saw you featured on Craft Magazine. Sweet! I love the little whales...

What an incredibly comprehensive tutorial! Thanks for taking the time to make this :)

Thank you so much for the tutorial. I've done several blocks before but didn't know about the photo copy, blender marker technique for transferring... That is really cool!

wow thank you for the great tutorial! i´ve just read it and it was VERY interesting. i am blockprinting too but you gave me some hints that i will definitly use for my future projects.
also: great motive

I guess she doesn't read this because there are no responses to the other questions... but hopefully someone else will see this and can help me out. :)

I'm wondering how you apply two different colors to the block? Like in that bird print...

I do respond to comments in email. Sorry if you think I haven't been responding

really fun! Love the whales and wish we could have had a peek at the finished print.

Thanks for the lovely tutorial. I can't wait to see your line of fabric.

Thanks for the great tutorial!

I have been wanting to try my hand at printing and seeing your work and tutorial has confirmed it, I need to do it now. Thanks for posting!

trying to connect with the tutorial..can't wait. I sooooo love your site. I just spent the last few weeks teaching linocut to elementary students. I love it.They love it.

This is a terrific tutorial. Thanks for making it available to the world! I have a couple questions for you when you've got a chance: Got any tips or shortcuts for printing with more than one color? How small is the smallest carving tool you use? I'm also curious about printing on fabric - any inks you would recommend that can survive apparel-washing? Thank you!
