Ready for a quick & easy quilt along? I am! Let me share with you my thoughts about this little quilt, first of all the inspiration for the quilt came from a pair of socks, probably from the Gap. Secondly I am going to make this into a large quilt, but I wanted to test it on a small scale...a good place to work out all the kinks.
The colors given for each quilt will be from Kona Cotton Solids, feel free to substitute with other fabrics or colors if you like.
Quilt Size: 34 x 36
Level of Difficulty: Anyone & everyone can create this quilt
I hope you will join me in making one of these colorful quilts - or make more than one if you like. The project will be quick & fun...something pressure free!
My dear Lizzy is creating a Quilt Along button for us, and I'll set up a Flickr group for these little beauties.
I will get the fabric lists created this weekend for the following colors:
- Pink
- Brown
- Gray
- Orange
Start date: February 1st
Leave a comment if you would like to participate...I hope you will join along!

I love this design! How fun to hear you were inspired by a pair of socks from the Gap! I would love to participate. I think I'm most interested in the orange version because it would look great on our white walls, but I'm still a little undecided.

My guild recently did city tracks and I liked it so much I am creating my own version. I have never participated in a Quilt along, but there is no time like the present to try it. I really like the simplicity of this design.

I love, love, love quilt alongs!! It's great to have company while you quilt and someone's always on the same step you are! I'd do the orange because my son and his wife are re-painting their bedroom orange and I'd love to get something done and give them a gift that are expecting!
Thanks

This will be my first quilt along. I have a new grandbaby due the 3rd week of February, so this can be for him. I look forward to getting started! : )

I am seriously tempted to do this as my first quilt-a-long. I think I'd do the grey but use some purples in the small blocks as it will be for my eldest son - whose favourite colour is purple!
